Simon Bennett is the Managing Director of Southern Waters Legal, where he leads the firm’s work in wills, estate planning, and commercial law. With over 20 years of experience, Simon offers clients practical and accessible legal advice, addressing the complexities of business, superannuation, taxation, and estate succession planning. He established Southern Waters Legal in 2009 to provide expert legal services with a focus on affordability and personalised client relationships, distinguishing his practice from larger firms. Prior to founding Southern Waters Legal, Simon gained valuable experience at a national law firm in Sydney. His qualifications include a Master of Laws from the University of New South Wales, a Master of Commerce, and an undergraduate law degree from the University of Wollongong. As a Chartered Tax Advisor, Simon also advises on asset protection and business structuring to help clients safeguard their interests. Committed to building strong connections, Simon is known for his approachable manner and ability to think creatively in delivering legal solutions. Outside of his legal career, he enjoys spending quality time with his family and has a keen interest in sports, particularly Rugby Union.
