Nilufer Okur

Nilufer Okur is quickly establishing herself as a prominent figure in the field of Family Law and Property matters. Since joining our firm in 2019, she has demonstrated a unique blend of legal acumen and a genuine commitment to community service, making her a valuable asset in dealing with financial and parenting matters, estate planning, and more. Nilufer was admitted to practice law in 2018. She holds a double degree in Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in English, from La Trobe University. Her academic background has laid a strong foundation for her legal practice, which encompasses Family Law, Property, and Estate matters. Before joining our team, Nilufer gained extensive experience working as a law clerk in various legal disciplines, including conveyancing, commercial litigation, business law, wills and estates, and property law. This broad exposure has equipped her with the skills necessary to advise a diverse array of clients on complex legal issues. Beyond her legal pursuits, Nilufer is passionately involved in community service. She dedicates her time to empowering women's educational programs, organising charity events for non-profits, and supporting grassroots activism for asylum seekers. Nilufer is also an avid traveller, having expanded her cultural and academic horizons with a study semester at Aarhus University in Denmark in 2016.
