About Paul
Paul Meehan is the Principal of Meehans, a firm he established in 1989 alongside his brother. For over 30 years, Paul and his team have been dedicated to delivering legal services within the Macarthur region. Throughout his career, Paul has advised a diverse range of clients, including local families as well as prominent ASX listed companies. His legal practice includes significant cases such as representing Master Education Services Pty Ltd in MES v Ketchell (2008) HCA 38, a landmark High Court decision regarded as the most important in Australian franchising law. This case was the first to consider the Franchising Code of Conduct at the High Court level. Beyond his legal practice, Paul serves as a Non-Executive Director on the boards of several companies, including ASX listed organisations, demonstrating his respected standing in both legal and corporate spheres.
