About Anthony
Anthony Davis is a Partner at McWilliams Davis, bringing over a decade of experience as a lawyer. Since joining the firm as a Director in 2018, Anthony has built on his extensive background, which began at Tottle Partners in 2007. He graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2006 with degrees in Laws and Commerce, and was admitted to practice in Western Australia in 2008. His experience also includes a significant period in the UK working with a leading international law firm. Anthony’s practice encompasses commercial property and general commercial law. He has expertise in preparing and negotiating a wide range of documents including leases for both landlords and tenants, commercial and agricultural property sale agreements, loan and security agreements, and business sale contracts. He provides advice on matters relating to the Western Australian land titling system and key legislation such as the Commercial Tenancy (Retail Shops) Agreement Act, the Strata Titles Act, and the Contaminated Sites Act. Recent work highlights include advising on high-value transaction sales such as a $20 million residential subdivision, an $80 million portfolio of agricultural land assets, and the purchase of commercial sites in West Perth and Subiaco valued at $40 million and $15 million respectively. He has also prepared lease and sale documents for notable clients including national retail entities and international firms, and represented an Indonesian real estate investment fund in relation to prominent CBD assets. Additionally, Anthony has experience in drafting and enforcing boutique mezzanine finance transactions valued at $8 million. A member of the Law Society of Western Australia, Anthony has contributed to the profession as a mentor in the Society’s mentoring programme, reflecting his commitment to supporting the development of emerging legal professionals.
