David Powell, Managing Director of McMahon Fearnley since 2009, has dedicated over 20 years to the firm, driving growth and nurturing client relationships. An expert in commercial litigation, David possesses extensive experience across State and Federal jurisdictions, covering areas such as alternative dispute resolution, contracts, corporations, insurance, intellectual property, and property law. His commitment is further evidenced by his roles as a Board Member for aged care facilities and on a private hospital's Ethics Committee. With comprehensive knowledge in construction law, David has represented a wide range of clients—including owners, builders, and developers—in litigation across Australian state courts and at VCAT. His adeptness in arbitration under the Commercial Arbitration Act complements his client-focused, solutions-driven approach.
