David Nicholson

David is a distinguished legal practitioner with a robust academic and professional background. Completing his Law degree with Honours from Murdoch University in 1995, David embarked on his legal journey with articles training at Parker & Parker, now known as Freehills. His admission to practice came in 1997, marking the beginning of a career characterised by commitment and expertise. Demonstrating a profound interest in environmental law, David pursued and attained a Doctoral degree from the University of Leiden in The Netherlands. His doctoral thesis delved into Environmental Dispute Resolution, emphasising a comparative analysis of environmental mediation and litigation, showcasing his ability to blend academic rigour with practical insights. Joining McLeods in January 2004, David's expertise and dedication were recognized when he ascended to the role of partner on 1 July 2012. His extensive experience equips him to navigate complex legal landscapes, offering clients unparalleled insight and guidance.
