Thao McKay, the principal lawyer at McKay Legal, leads a dedicated team servicing the Mascot area and neighbouring suburbs stretching from Alexandria to Wolli Creek. Graduating with Honours in Law in 2011, Thao was admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia in 2012, marking the beginning of a distinguished legal career. With a diverse background working in both national and boutique law firms, Thao brings a wealth of experience to her practice. Her approach to law is characterised by efficiency and empathy, a philosophy that drove her to establish McKay Legal and realise her vision of providing exceptional legal services. Thao's personal experiences as a child of divorced parents have given her invaluable insight into the intricacies of family law, a field where she demonstrates profound passion and commitment. Her practice predominantly focuses on family law, including property settlements and parenting matters. In addition to her substantial expertise in family law, Thao is well-versed in conveyancing and wills and estates matters, ensuring her clients receive comprehensive legal support.
