About Thomas
Tom McCredie is a partner with extensive experience in personal injury law, with a particular focus on matters involving sexual abuse. His practice also encompasses commercial litigation, corporate transactions, and employment law. Tom is recognised for fostering strong relationships with his clients to gain a comprehensive understanding of their objectives and provide tailored advice. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne and a Juris Doctor from RMIT University. During his studies, Tom gained valuable experience working at the Fair Work Ombudsman, where he provided guidance to both employers and employees on the Fair Work Act. He commenced his career at Lennon Mazzeo Lawyers as a paralegal in 2011 and was admitted to practice in 2014. Following his admission, Tom broadened his experience with two international firms in London, focusing on private client and corporate transaction work. He returned to Mazzeo Lawyers in 2017, continuing to build his expertise across his diverse practice areas. Committed to giving back, Tom volunteers at the HIV/AIDS Legal Centre and mentors law students at RMIT. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, surfing when conditions allow, gardening, and engaging with his local book club, which he co-founded. Tom is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria.
