Tom Cicchianni-Jones

Tom has recently joined the team at Matthew Mitchell, and is an enthusiastic young lawyer with a zest for Criminal and Traffic Law. He strongly believes in utilizing his pragmatic experience in order to provide clients with high quality advice, leading to excellent outcomes based on realistic expectations. Tom completed a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at the University of South Australia in 2018 and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law Australia in 2019. He was ultimately admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of South Australia in March 2020. From 2021, Tom was an Associate to several esteemed Judges in the District Court of South Australia, which allowed him to gain firsthand experience in complex and major Criminal law matters, from a judicial perspective, including niche procedural aspects, trials, and the sentencing process. This experience also allowed him to build rapport with many judges and senior legal practitioners. When he isn’t working, Tom is an avid surfer and fisherman. He also works as a DJ in numerous venues around Adelaide, which he has been doing since he was 15. It follows that Tom is open to taking on any matters relating to the music industry and liquor licensing.
