Joe Bonura

Joe Bonura serves as the Managing Partner at Marsdens Law Group and is a pivotal member of the Injury Compensation Team. Since his induction into the firm in 1995, Joe has dedicated his expertise to personal injury compensation law. He holds a degree with Honours from the University of Technology, Sydney, and was admitted as a solicitor by the Supreme Court of NSW in 1997. Further enhancing his credentials, Joe achieved a Master of Business Administration from the same university in 2016. Recognised as a New South Wales Law Society Accredited Specialist in Personal Injury Law and as an Approved Legal Service Provider by the Independent Review Office (IRO), Joe's professional affiliations include membership in the Macarthur Law Society. His practice encompasses a wide range of personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, workers' compensation claims, and medical negligence. With a track record of successful outcomes in complex cases such as birth trauma, death claims, and industrial accidents, Joe is known for his effective negotiation skills and commitment to client advocacy. Joe's client-centred approach involves guiding those affected by accident or injury with empathy and clarity. He employs alternative dispute resolution strategies, such as mediation, to secure efficient and equitable resolutions, while also being prepared to rigorously advance cases through the Court when necessary. Beyond his legal practice, Joe actively contributes to the community as a member of the Campbelltown City Lions Club, having held positions including club president. His contributions have been recognised with awards such as the James D Richardson Honour Award and Melvin Jones Fellowship. Residing in the local area with his family since 1988, Joe’s personal interests include tennis, golf, cars, music, and enjoying quality food.
