Marie Sullivan OAM is the esteemed founder of Marie Sullivan Family Dispute Resolution and Mediation, established in 2015 upon her return to Bathurst, in the Central West of New South Wales. She has dedicated herself to offering mediation services that cater not only to her local community but also extend across Australia. Marie is renowned for her exceptional people skills, deep empathy, attentive listening, and authoritative approach that ensure clients feel comfortable, respected, and secure. Her mediation sessions are designed to be future-focused and solution-oriented, placing a strong emphasis on children's needs in parenting matters. Marie advocates for mediation as an effective and transformative method for resolving disputes. Throughout her esteemed career, Marie has conducted numerous successful property and parenting mediations in both Sydney and Central Western New South Wales. Her flexibility allows her to travel as needed to conduct mediations, with arrangements also available for sessions via Zoom. Parties are welcome to have legal representation during mediation sessions. Admitted to practice as a solicitor in both NSW and Federal Courts, Marie holds arts and law degrees, further enhanced by a Master of Laws with a focus on Family Dispute Resolution Practice (FDRP) and Mediation and Family Law. Recognised as an accredited FDRP by the Federal Attorney-General Department, she is also a Nationally Accredited Mediator. Her expertise spans three decades in Family and Estates Law, as well as Corporate and Financial Services Law, with deep experience in family law, mediation, superannuation, and business law. Marie’s service to the community was honoured in January 2012 when she was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in the Australia Day Honours List. She has also been acknowledged as a finalist in both national and local business awards, cementing her reputation as a leader in her field. Supporting Marie is Reema Doueihi of RSAJ Secretarial Services, a senior administrative assistant renowned for her expertise and outstanding customer service delivery. Together, they ensure that clients receive the highest standard of professional assistance and care.
