Brendan Manning

Brendan Manning is the Director of Manning Lawyers and holds a Master of Commercial Law, bringing over 25 years of experience in private practice. Throughout his career, Brendan has worked across a broad range of legal areas, developing strong skills in negotiation and litigation. Known for his practical and reassuring approach, Brendan prioritises delivering personalised service tailored to each client’s unique circumstances. He takes the time to listen carefully, aiming to fully understand their situation, goals and expectations from legal representation. Brendan's experience in family law covers initial client consultations and advice, preparation for mediation including roundtable conferences and settlement negotiations, as well as providing referrals to mediators and counsellors. He assists with children’s matters and custody arrangements, identifies and values matrimonial assets such as real estate, businesses and superannuation, and assesses property entitlements. Brendan also manages property disputes and settlements, and advises on prenuptial and separation agreements along with de facto relationship agreements. His court experience includes appearances in the Family, Local and Federal Circuit Courts, as well as regional, interstate and international jurisdictions. Brendan is also experienced in handling Apprehended Domestic Violence Orders (ADVOs).
