Mark McDonald

Mark McDonald is a highly respected partner with over 40 years of experience practising law primarily within New South Wales. A graduate of the University of Sydney Law School, Mark has developed extensive expertise across a broad range of legal areas, including commercial law, insurance law, employment law, and building and construction law. His practice spans appearances before the NSW Supreme Court, the District Court, the Fair Work Commission, and the Industrial Relations Commission of NSW. Mark is valued by his clients for his straightforward and practical approach, consistently prioritising commercially sensible solutions over litigation whenever possible. He represents both individuals and corporations, confidently addressing complex commercial disputes and insurance matters, often advocating strongly against insurers. He serves as honorary Solicitor to the North Wollongong Surf Club and has significantly contributed to the KidzWish Foundation. Mark was a founding director and long-serving board member of the Illawarra Business Chamber and maintains active involvement in community organisations such as Healthier Illawarra Men and APEX Australia. His leadership extended to the sporting community as Past President of the Vikings Rugby Union Football Club. For his dedication to the community, he has been honoured with the Centenary Medal. Mark played a key role in achieving successful outcomes for victims of storm damage in the Illawarra floods and represented over 100 families affected by the Trio Capital fraud.
