Stuart Naylor

Stuart Naylor holds Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce degrees and joined Macrossan & Amiet in 1996. He became a partner in August 2004 and has been the firm’s Managing Director since June 2015. Stuart has broad experience across a variety of litigation matters, including claims for negligence and breach of contract, property and building disputes, professional negligence claims, insolvency cases, and employment issues. His practice also encompasses advising on workplace matters as well as facilitating business sales and acquisitions. In addition to his legal practice, Stuart is an Approved Costs Assessor listed on the Supreme Court of Queensland’s Register of Approved Costs Assessors. He is admitted as a Solicitor of both the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia, and maintains active membership with the Queensland Law Society. Outside of his professional commitments, Stuart lives in Mackay with his wife and three daughters. He contributes to the community as a director of the Whitsunday Anglican School and serves as Secretary of the Macrossan & Amiet Charitable Foundation.
