Samantha Sticklan

Samantha Sticklan brings extensive experience in family law, having practised in the area for over 18 years. She began her legal career in 2004 as an Articled Clerk in Mackay after completing her Bachelor of Laws at Griffith University in Brisbane. Throughout her career, Samantha has developed a strong commitment to supporting clients through the complexities of family law, focusing on reducing stress and achieving practical outcomes. Samantha is accredited by the Queensland Law Society as a Family Law Specialist and is an accredited mediator under the National Mediator Accreditation System (NMAS). Her areas of practice include property settlements, matters relating to children, de facto property issues, financial agreements, spousal maintenance, divorce, and child support. Beyond her legal work, Samantha actively contributes to her local community in Mackay. She volunteers with the Mackay Community Legal Centre and serves on the organising committee, and she is a director of the Artspace Mackay Foundation. Outside of her professional and volunteer roles, Samantha enjoys engaging in various physical activities to maintain balance in her life. Samantha is admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism alongside her law degree, which informs her clear and thoughtful communication with clients.
