About Andrew
Andrew Telford is the director based at the firm’s Whitsunday office, located in the Whitsunday Business Centre adjacent to the Coles Supermarket in Cannonvale. The office offers ample parking and lift access, ensuring convenience for all clients. Born and raised in Proserpine within a cane farming family, Andrew has deep roots in the region. He practised law in Proserpine for many years before establishing an office in Airlie Beach in 2000. This extensive local experience allows Andrew to connect closely with clients from the Whitsunday area and beyond, providing informed advice that reflects an understanding of the community and its unique needs. Admitted as a solicitor in 1991, Andrew’s recent work has largely focused on commercial and property matters. Andrew is married to Rachelle, and they have three children: two sons and a daughter. While Rachelle enjoys Crossfit, Andrew shares leisure time fishing with Jack, who has nurtured Andrew’s interest in sports fishing, encouraging a significant investment in their fishing pursuits. Their other son, Mitchell, is dedicated to powerlifting, frequently found at the gym, while their daughter Abby has a strong intellectual curiosity, particularly in languages and psychology. Andrew’s practice areas include residential and business conveyancing, off the plan sales and purchases, leasing and property transactions, business structure and advice, sales of cane farms and grazing properties, as well as estates and wills. He holds a Bachelor of Laws and is admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia. Andrew is also a member of the Queensland Law Society.
