Hayley Feakes

Hayley Feakes is an associate lawyer committed to delivering practical and effective solutions across a wide range of disputes. Holding a double degree in Law (Honours) and Psychology, Hayley offers a distinctive approach to legal matters by integrating an understanding of human behaviour with legal expertise. She prioritises building strong relationships with clients, working closely with them to fully grasp their unique needs and objectives. This client-focused approach ensures that her legal strategies are aligned with their goals, and she maintains open communication throughout the process. Prior to joining Macmillan, Hayley developed her skills at a general practice law firm where she gained extensive experience in commercial, property, business, and corporate law. This diverse background enables her to address complex issues from multiple perspectives and deliver tailored advice in transactions and disputes. Hayley also provides guidance on insolvency matters, assisting businesses to navigate financial challenges effectively. Her key practice areas include commercial law, property law, debt recovery, and bankruptcy and insolvency. Hayley holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Behavioural Science in Psychology from the Queensland University of Technology, as well as a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law. She is admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland.
