Daniel Sampson

Daniel Sampson is a Partner at Loukas Law, bringing over two decades of legal expertise primarily in family law. He is recognised for his ability to provide stability and clear guidance during times of uncertainty, making him a reliable and insightful advocate for his clients. Daniel works closely with corporate clients, business owners, and individuals involved in international and cross-jurisdictional family law matters. His approach is attentive and thorough, catering to clients’ diverse financial circumstances—whether they are financially active or dependent within their relationships. Daniel’s understanding of the complex financial interactions within family and business contexts allows him to represent the interests of all parties effectively. Daniel’s practice areas include property settlements, parenting disputes, child support, spousal maintenance, mediations related to property and children, relocation matters, and binding financial agreements. Since 2009, he has supported clients through intricate family law issues, including high-conflict parenting disputes and property divisions. He also advises corporate clients and business owners, ensuring financial and property matters are handled with care and precision. Beyond family law, Daniel assists with restraining order proceedings and mediations that fall outside the family law scope, offering comprehensive legal support. His commitment to professional development is demonstrated by his participation in international legal competitions, such as The VisEast International Trade Law mooting competition in Hong Kong, and his recognition for academic and professional achievements. Daniel attained NMAS accreditation as a mediator in 2013 and became an accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP) in 2025. Daniel maintains active memberships with the Law Society of Western Australia, the Family Law Practitioners Association of Western Australia, the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, AIFLAM, and LEADR. He is also dedicated to community service, having volunteered as a mentor through the Smith Family, provided pro bono legal assistance with Women’s Legal Service WA, and actively supported the Curtin University Rugby Union club.
