Kayla Curtis is a compassionate family law lawyer and NMAS Accredited Mediator with a commitment to guiding clients through some of life’s most challenging moments with clear and considerate advice. Drawing on a solid foundation in family law, Kayla focuses on securing fair and practical outcomes that safeguard clients’ best interests while striving to reduce conflict whenever possible. Kayla’s legal practice extends beyond family law and mediation to include Wills and Estate Planning, Criminal Law, Children’s Court matters, and Conveyancing. This broad legal experience equips her to offer well-rounded support across various legal concerns, providing clients with comprehensive guidance tailored to their unique circumstances. Known for combining professionalism with empathy, Kayla recognises that legal issues often intertwine with personal lives and is dedicated to supporting clients at every stage of the legal process. Outside the office, Kayla enjoys spending quality time with her partner and four children, with family beach outings, games, and shared evenings of connection forming an important part of her life. Kayla holds a Bachelor of Laws from Charles Sturt University and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law. She is an accredited mediator through the Mediation Institute and is currently completing a Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution at the College of Law. Kayla also contributes as a guest lecturer on Gender and Crime at Charles Sturt University and has completed a Certificate in Collaborative Practice through Happy Lawyer Happy Life.
