About Caitlin
Caitlin Mosley is an accomplished property and commercial lawyer with extensive experience across a range of legal disciplines. She earned her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degrees from the University of Queensland after beginning her tertiary studies at La Trobe University. Following completion of her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at The College of Law in Brisbane, Caitlin was admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2013. After gaining valuable legal practice in Brisbane and Western Queensland, Caitlin returned to Victoria in 2015 to join her family’s longstanding farming business. Since then, she has cultivated a diverse client base comprising both commercial entities and private individuals. Operating primarily from the firm’s Sale and Traralgon offices, Caitlin provides pragmatic advice on commercial matters, property transactions, wills, and probate. She also plays a pivotal role overseeing the firm’s extensive conveyancing department, utilising her strong knowledge of property law and proficiency in online platforms such as PEXA to ensure efficient and effective service delivery for clients across the state. In commercial and business law, Caitlin assists with the sale and purchase of companies, shares and businesses, negotiates commercial leasing arrangements, and prepares contracts including shareholder, joint venture, and supply agreements. Her experience extends to complex loan transactions, acting for both lenders and borrowers in situations involving security interests such as mortgages, leases of business equipment, and charges over companies. With a background spanning commercial and property law, Caitlin brings a well-rounded perspective to estate planning. She works closely with clients, their accountants, and planners to provide clear and practical advice on wills, testamentary trusts, nominations, and superannuation equalisation. Her collaborative approach helps simplify what can often be complex processes. In addition to her advisory role, Caitlin is an integral member of the firm’s busy probate department, managing deceased estate matters with care and efficiency.
