About Linda
Linda Ashley Abbouche serves as the Principal Solicitor at Linda Ashley Law, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to her practice. Her legal career embarked at a young age when she undertook work experience within a law firm. Despite initial hesitations about the profession, encouragement from her parents eventually led her to recognise her affinity for law. Linda completed a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Legal Studies, alongside a Bachelor of Laws, which paved the way for her admission as a Legal Practitioner in the Supreme Court and the High Court of Australia. Her commitment to the legal profession is evident in her continued professional development. Since launching her practice in January 2019, Linda has completed a Master of Laws in Commercial Law with distinction from the University of Melbourne. Her dedication and skill were further acknowledged when she was awarded the esteemed Accreditation as a Specialist in Commercial Law by the Law Institute of Victoria in 2022. Notably, she was the youngest solicitor to receive this accolade. Linda's pursuit of excellence extends to international law, having completed a professional course in Notarial Practice in 2024, broadening her capabilities in preparing legal documents for international matters. Her active engagement with the Law Institute of Victoria's Specialisation Committee underscores her commitment to the legal community. Throughout her career, Linda has amassed extensive experience in various legal domains, aiding numerous clients, both individuals and corporations, across different sectors. Her practice covers investments, franchising, property dealings, business ventures, disputes, and agreements. Linda is renowned for providing personalised legal services that are accessible and affordable, contrasting with the high fees often associated with larger firms. Her client-centric approach emphasises stress reduction and confidence, ensuring that clients feel reassured by her diligent and caring handling of their cases. A significant portion of Linda's cases reaches resolution efficiently, with over 90% concluding favourably without the need for court proceedings. However, when litigation is unavoidable, Linda is well-prepared, leveraging her comprehensive knowledge and resources across various areas, including contractual disputes, insolvency issues, shareholder and business disputes, consumer law, property conflicts, equity and trusts disputes, and family law matters. Linda welcomes clients to visit her at her office in the heart of Melbourne, at 202 Elgin Street, Carlton. Whether you're dealing with a legal dispute or require assistance with business and property transactions, Linda is ready to offer expert guidance and support, albeit preferably after her morning coffee.
