About Lezah
Lezah Gildea-Marega is the Principal Director and Solicitor at LGM Family Law, bringing extensive experience to her practice exclusively dedicated to family law. She holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Queensland, as well as a Master of Law with Honours from Cambridge University in the United Kingdom. Lezah is admitted to practise in the Supreme Court of Queensland, the High Court of Australia, and the Supreme Court of England and Wales. Having commenced her legal career in 1987, Lezah gained valuable experience in corporate finance and commercial law with major national and international law firms across Brisbane, Sydney, London, Tokyo, and Hong Kong. Since returning to Australia in 2003, she has focused her practice on family law matters, encompassing separation and divorce, complex property settlements for married and de facto couples, spousal maintenance, family violence, and arrangements for children. Lezah is currently furthering her expertise through a Masters in Applied Family Law. Her background in corporate and commercial law provides particular insight in managing complex property issues involving business interests, investment portfolios, and intricate corporate and trust structures. Lezah founded LGM Family Law with a commitment to delivering professional and personalised legal services. She understands the challenges clients face during the resolution of property and parenting matters and aims to guide and support them throughout the legal process. Lezah prioritises building trusting relationships and maintaining accessibility so clients feel informed and confident in their decisions. Her approach focuses on providing clear, practical advice tailored to clients’ individual circumstances, helping them achieve the best possible outcomes aligned with their goals and values. Outside of her legal work, Lezah enjoys volunteering with community organisations, spending quality time with family and friends, and pursuing her passion for painting.
