Christie Blake

Christie Blake is the Director and Principal Lawyer at Leonard Blake Legal, bringing over 12 years of experience in personal injury and employment law. She holds a BA/LLB from the University of New England and was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of NSW in 2013 and the High Court of Australia in 2015. Christie previously served as a Partner at a defendant personal injury law firm, where she developed a strong foundation in litigation. Recognised for her expertise in litigation, Christie was recently included in the “Recommended” list in Doyle’s Guide Leading Workers Compensation Lawyer Rankings (Defendant) – New South Wales, 2025. She is an active member of the Law Society of NSW and the Women’s Lawyers Association of NSW, where she has been nominated for Partner of the Year. Raised in regional New South Wales in a working-class family, Christie was school captain and the first in her extended family to attend university. Known for her pragmatic and straightforward approach, she effectively negotiates favourable outcomes for her clients with minimal fuss. As a breast cancer survivor and proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community, Christie's personal experiences have deepened her compassion and commitment to justice. Having formerly represented insurers, she now draws on that insight to advocate robustly for clients seeking rightful compensation.
