Zoe Szetu

Zoe Szetu brings a rare combination of empathy, integrity, and diverse expertise to her role at Lawpoint. Her background spans both community-focused legal support and practical experience in property law as well as wills and estates. Prior to joining Lawpoint, Zoe worked with Women’s Legal Service NSW, where she provided assistance to women affected by domestic violence. This role deepened her understanding of sensitive legal issues and the importance of compassionate client care. In addition to this, she has practised in areas involving property transactions and estate planning, providing well-rounded legal support to her clients. Zoe’s academic journey is notable for its breadth and depth. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Chinese literature, a Master of Commerce, and a Juris Doctor. Her studies began in Beijing, where she combined her legal interests with active advocacy for vulnerable groups, including people living with HIV. Her commitment to social justice was recognised in local media for its impact. As a member of the Law Society of NSW, Zoe maintains strong professional standards. She is known for her attentive listening and ability to connect with clients on a personal level, ensuring they feel supported and understood throughout their legal proceedings. This empathetic approach is a key strength she brings to every matter she handles.
