James Lane

James Lane BA LLB (University of Sydney) was admitted to practice law in 1990 following his graduation from the University of Sydney. He began his career with a large national law firm before joining Lane & Lane Solicitors, where he now serves as Principal of Lane Legal. James played a key role in expanding the firm’s presence from its original Sydney CBD office to Hornsby in 2016. His practice focuses on estate planning, wills and probate, estate administration, and family provision claims. In addition, James has substantial experience in commercial law, encompassing business sales and acquisitions, joint ventures, shareholder agreements, distribution agreements, franchising, and commercial leasing. He is dedicated to delivering personalised, high-quality service, maintaining strong relationships with many longstanding clients of Lane Legal.
