Simone Thomas

Simone Thomas serves as Principal Solicitor and Director at Lamrocks Solicitors, where she has been a key member of the Family Law team since 2008. Her legal journey began at a prominent commercial law firm in Sydney’s CBD, though she soon realised her true passion lay in guiding families through the complexities of separation and divorce. This calling led her back to her hometown region of Hawkesbury-Nepean, where she has focused on helping families settle disputes efficiently and amicably for the past 17 years. As an accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner and skilled mediator, Simone excels in working directly with families to resolve issues outside of court, empowering them to shape their own futures. In addition to her mediation skills, Simone is a trained Collaborative Family Lawyer, adept at guiding clients through this alternative resolution pathway. However, when court involvement is necessary, she confidently represents clients in the Family Court and Federal Circuit Court with determination and expertise. Simone’s deep connection to the Penrith community highlights her commitment to continuing Lamrocks Solicitors' legacy of over 135 years of local legal support. Outside her demanding career, she is a devoted mother to three children, finding balance through hobbies like hiking and gardening, and actively participating in her children's academic and sporting pursuits.
