She earned her honours law degree from Queensland University of Technology while working full-time for the Gympie Regional Council, demonstrating her commitment and resilience. This foundation provided her with a well-rounded understanding of general practice. She then expanded her scope by working for two years at a boutique criminal law firm in Noosa, where she not only broadened her criminal law experience but also developed the firm’s property and civil law services. Notably, Louise successfully defended a client charged with unlicensed driving in the Noosa Magistrates Court and has experience instructing Counsel in both the District and Supreme Courts of Queensland, reflecting her thorough knowledge of legal procedures and substantive law.
