She graduated with Honours in Law from Flinders University in 2005. Her journey into law was a natural progression from her previous career in journalism, a field where she honed her skills in communication and research. Beginning as a cadet journalist at the Sunraysia Daily in 1992, she advanced to roles with WIN TV and the TEN Network in Adelaide. Her transition into law commenced while she was a night sub-editor for the Adelaide Advertiser, managing her legal studies during the day. Following her return to Sunraysia for family and lifestyle reasons, Sarah embarked on her legal career. She completed a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and was admitted as a lawyer in 2013, starting her career with Martin Irwin & Richards. Over the years, she gained valuable experience working with other firms in Mildura, particularly in property law. In 2019, motivated by a desire to deliver an unparalleled client-focused experience, Sarah founded Klarich Legal.
