About David
Since commencing practice in 1995, David Prince has developed extensive experience across all facets of visa applications, merits review, and judicial review. He has built a strong reputation for achieving positive outcomes in complex immigration matters. His expertise is frequently sought by barristers, solicitors, and migration agents facing intricate issues within immigration law. David has been recognised by the Law Society of New South Wales for his extensive work in immigration law since 2000. He is among a select group of solicitors in New South Wales acknowledged for their proficiency in this area. In addition to his legal practice, David contributes to the professional community as a member of the NSW Specialist Accreditation Immigration Law Advisory Committee, which oversees the assessment process for specialist accreditation in immigration law. David regularly shares his knowledge as a lecturer for the Australian National University’s Graduate Certificate of Migration Law and Practice. His commitment to education has been acknowledged through the ANU College of Law Award for Teaching Excellence in 2013 and the Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Education in 2014. Active in national legal discourse, David participates with the Law Council of Australia’s Migration Law Committee to shape policy and provide expert input to Parliamentary submissions. David holds a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales and is admitted to practice before the High Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of New South Wales. He has authored notable articles such as 'Not only punishment to fear' published in The Law Society Journal and has appeared on television discussing immigration issues on The Project TV Show.
