Barbara Ventriglia

Barbara Ventriglia joined Kingsley Lawson in November 2022 as a Senior Associate, bringing extensive experience across a broad spectrum of civil litigation matters. Her practice includes handling cases involving historical abuse, workers compensation claims, motor vehicle accidents, work injury damages, public liability, as well as total and permanent disability claims. Barbara predominantly supports survivors of institutional abuse, focusing on matters related to sexual and physical abuse. She is dedicated to advocating for the rights of survivors and is committed to achieving just outcomes on their behalf. Known for her proactive and thorough approach to litigation, Barbara ensures that her clients are well-informed and supported throughout the legal process. She values clear communication from the initial conference through to resolution, helping clients navigate complex matters with confidence. Barbara encourages her clients to pursue their rightful claims and is driven to secure the best possible results. She completed her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the Australian National University and holds a Diploma in Law from the Legal Education Centre, University of Sydney, both attained in 2015. Barbara also earned a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from the University of Notre Dame in 2009. She is fluent in English and Italian, which enhances her ability to connect with a diverse client base.
