Melita St Ledger

Melita St Ledger is a solicitor admitted to practice in both the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Business, having commenced her studies at James Cook University before completing her degrees at the University of Queensland, St Lucia. Melita also obtained a Graduate Diploma in Professional Legal Education and Training. Since beginning her legal career in Gladstone in 2005, Melita has focused her practice primarily on Family Law, handling matters such as property settlements and children’s issues. Her approach is client-centred, aiming to provide clear, practical and accessible advice tailored to each individual’s circumstances. Melita maintains active membership with the Queensland Law Society and the Gladstone District Law Association. When not practising law, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, often engaging in outdoor activities like four-wheel driving, fishing and camping with her partner and young sons. Melita has been with Kenny & Partners Lawyers since 2016, contributing her extensive knowledge and experience to support clients through complex family law matters.
