Michael Klimek

Michael Klimek is the Director of KDK Family Law, bringing extensive experience in family law since 2006. Admitted to practise in June 2015, Michael established his boutique practice as a sole practitioner in 2018, which evolved into KDK Family Law in 2021. He adopts a personal and practical approach to guide clients through the complexities of separation, focusing on clear and pragmatic solutions to issues surrounding children’s care and property arrangements. Michael accepts instructions across all areas of family law and regularly appears in the Family Court of Western Australia, the Perth Children’s Court for care and protection matters, and the Magistrates Court for restraining order cases. His commitment to access to justice is demonstrated through his volunteer work at the Subiaco Justice Centre and his ongoing role as a board member of the Northern Suburbs Community Legal Centre since 2016. He is listed on the Dispute Resolution Panel at Legal Aid WA and is an active member of the Family Law Practitioners’ Association of WA, the Law Society of Western Australia, and the Family Law Section of the Family Law Council of Australia. Michael’s experience and community involvement reflect a deep commitment to supporting individuals through challenging family law situations with both expertise and empathy.
