Dickran Yakenian

Dickran was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2001 and has since developed extensive experience across a broad range of legal areas. He holds a Bachelor of Social Science with a major in Criminology, as well as a Bachelor of Law. At Juris League, Dickran’s diverse practice reflects his commitment to delivering thorough and pragmatic legal advice. He regularly appears in courts throughout Greater Sydney, including the Downing Centre, Parramatta Justice Precinct, Bankstown Local Court and Burwood Local Court. In commercial law, Dickran supports start-ups, small and medium-sized enterprises with transactional and dispute matters. His work encompasses commercial disputes, debt recovery, contract drafting, company formation, and shareholder and partnership arrangements. Dickran also advises clients on various commercial and business matters, including conveyancing for both straightforward and complex off-the-plan developments, purchase and sale of businesses and company shares, trust establishment, and estate planning. His estate work includes drafting simple and complex wills, advising on family provision claims, as well as probate and administration of estates. In family law, Dickran handles property settlement matters and children’s issues with sensitivity and professionalism. As a criminal lawyer, he represents clients in both summary and serious indictable offences, such as fraud, drug-related offences, sexual assault, domestic violence, personal assault, affray, robbery and theft. He has appeared in the Supreme Court, District Court and Local Court of New South Wales.
