Nic began his legal journey in 1994, establishing Johnston Withers’ Whyalla office, where he cultivated his practice with a unique blend of rural experience. This foundation has enabled him to approach legal issues with a practical and cost-effective mindset, gaining the trust and appreciation of his clients. In 1997, Nic transitioned to the firm's Adelaide office and ascended to the role of Director in 2005. His prior experience in the finance industry enriches his understanding of financial intricacies, which he applies to complex legal scenarios. Nic leads the firm's criminal law practice and is adept at handling serious crime and white-collar offences. His legal prowess extends to family law, litigation, employment law, and rural legal matters such as farm succession planning and asset protection. Nic's versatility is reflected in his ability to represent clients in diverse situations, from workplace disputes and professional disciplinary tribunals to inquests and enquiries, often in the Coroner's court.
