Tim Jacobs

Tim Jacobs is a Partner at JKW Law, bringing decades of legal expertise to the firm. With roots in Darwin, Tim has been practising law in the Northern Territory since 1988. He began his career with the Attorney General's Department, ultimately serving as the Director of the Commercial Law division for the Solicitor for the Northern Territory. In 1999, Tim joined Ward Keller, where he became a Partner in 2001 and served as Managing Partner from 2007 to 2010. After three years as a consultant, Tim co-founded JKW Law alongside Alan Krajsek and Danny Wauchope. His general commercial practice primarily serves local business clients, reflecting his commitment to the community he has long called home. Tim holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Melbourne, equipping him with a robust foundation in both commercial and legal principles. Throughout his career, he has been dedicated to offering practical and strategic legal solutions tailored to the unique needs of his clients.
