Andrew Dunn

Andrew was admitted to practice law in 2018 following his graduation from the University of Newcastle, where he earned a Juris Doctor and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. His experience encompasses a wide variety of litigation and commercial matters, including contractual disputes, building defects, real property issues, debt recovery, restraints of trade, and equitable claims. Andrew also provides advice to private individuals and not-for-profit organisations on governance, contract matters, and regulatory compliance. Before joining JLA, Andrew worked in the Northern Territory as an insurance lawyer for a large multinational firm and as a civil law solicitor with Legal Aid. He has also represented insurers in workers compensation claims in New South Wales. Outside the professional sphere, Andrew enjoys spending quality time with his young family, engaging in sports, and pursuing language learning.
