Joe Bennett

Joe Bennett is the founding principal of JB Legal, a practice he established in 2013. Admitted to practice in Western Australia in 2003, Joe has also practised in Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales. He has built extensive experience working within the construction, property, mining and energy sectors, contributing to the development of major commercial, construction and infrastructure projects across Australia. Joe’s work focuses on drafting and negotiating a broad range of agreements, including those related to leases, development, design and construction contracts, project delivery, early contract involvement, tender documentation, bid consortiums, consultancy services, mining services, transport and freight services, procurement, and asset management. He frequently advises government bodies as well as major property and construction companies, providing practical and commercially-focused legal guidance tailored to senior management and project teams. Joe is a member of the Society of Construction Lawyers Australia and the Law Society of Western Australia.
