Anna Liscia leads the Dispute Resolution & Litigation team, bringing over 35 years of comprehensive legal experience to her role. Admitted to practice in Western Australia in 1983, Anna spent 11 years with a major Perth law firm before founding her own boutique litigation practice. In 2012, she established Liscia Legal, further advancing her independent legal career. Until April 2022, Anna served as a member and former chairperson of the Legal Practice Board of Western Australia, reflecting her commitment to the legal profession and regulatory standards. Anna’s extensive expertise spans personal injury and insurance matters, where she has effectively managed cases through informal and formal dispute resolution processes, trials and appeals. She also advises a diverse range of businesses, industries and individuals on commercial issues, providing guidance on legal compliance, conducting audits and policy reviews, and offering high-level counsel to company directors and government authorities. Her experience encompasses all stages of litigation and dispute resolution across various courts. Additionally, Anna has acted as Instructing Solicitor for Royal Commissions, government inquiries and regulatory bodies. She has been actively involved in numerous Boards and Tribunals, contributing her legal insights and governance experience. At IRDI Legal, Anna’s practice primarily involves Church-related litigation matters. Her areas of practice include commercial and civil litigation, alternative dispute resolution, commercial and corporate law, as well as compliance assessments, audits and advisory services.
