Michael Sonter holds a Bachelor of Laws and serves as a Director with extensive experience in commercial litigation and insurance law. His practice encompasses a broad range of commercial disputes, including matters related to building and construction, contractual disagreements, debt recovery, and insolvency. In the insurance sector, Michael's expertise covers general insurance areas such as professional indemnity, directors and officers liability, employer's liability, workers' compensation, construction works, industrial special risk, business interruption, product liability, marine, as well as public and other liability policies. He has appeared in all Western Australian and Federal Courts, and has represented clients before the WorkCover Tribunal, State Administrative Tribunal, and Administrative Appeals Tribunal. Michael is also a qualified mediator and serves as a WorkCover Sessional Arbitrator, demonstrating his commitment to resolving disputes efficiently and effectively. Beyond his legal career, Michael enjoys exploring international destinations and embraces the natural environment of Western Australia.
