Michala Farrell grew up in the Shoalhaven region and completed her Bachelor of Laws with Honours and Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Wollongong, graduating in 2010. She was admitted to legal practice in 2011. Early in her career, Michala worked as an associate in the Federal Circuit Court of Australia, where she gained valuable firsthand experience in family law litigation and court procedures. From 2012 to 2019, Michala practised as a solicitor in the Shoalhaven area, focusing on family law, wills and estates. She has also handled matters involving traffic offences and domestic violence.
