Matthew Tenace brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Independent Legal as a solicitor, underpinned by an impressive academic background that includes a Juris Doctor from the University of Technology Sydney, an MBA from Deakin University, and a Master of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Sydney. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor of Business in Accounting and Economics from Charles Sturt University and is a Chartered Accountant, a qualification conferred by Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. Matthew’s principal areas of practice encompass Banking & Finance, Commercial and Business Law, as well as providing Independent Legal Advice and Guarantor Advice. His extensive experience is further bolstered by his prior career in some of Australia's leading financial institutions, including tenure at Westpac Group, Commonwealth Bank, and GE Commercial, along with professional experience at the esteemed Chartered Accounting firm Hall Chadwick. Matthew completed his Professional Legal Training at Independent Legal and was admitted to practice law in 2015. His diverse skill set and comprehensive understanding of the financial sector enable him to deliver precise and insightful legal guidance to clients navigating complex commercial and financial landscapes.
