Nathan Day

Nathan is an accomplished lawyer with extensive experience in commercial litigation. He earned his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Technology, Sydney, and was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2012. Nathan began his career at Lander & Rogers Lawyers in Sydney, where he honed his skills in managing complex contractual, equitable, and insolvency disputes. Notably, he has acted for and against ASX-listed and major public companies in significant litigation, including representing Investa Property Group in Federal Court proceedings and defending Bankstown Airport Limited in multi-party claims in the Supreme Court of New South Wales. His ability to handle intricate legal matters has been consistently demonstrated through his involvement in high-profile cases, such as the franchisee dispute against Caltex and prosecutions for Liquor & Gaming NSW. Since relocating to Adelaide in 2017, Nathan has continued to apply his litigation expertise at Iles Selley, becoming a Principal in 2024. His practice covers a broad range of commercial litigious disputes, including professional indemnity litigation, trust disputes, and both contractual and company disputes.
