Lynette Wen

Lynette Wen has been practising as a solicitor in Perth, Western Australia since 2004. In 2011, she established her own firm, Ideal Legal Services, where she continues to provide dedicated legal support across various areas. Throughout her career, Lynette has managed thousands of conveyancing transactions and has provided extensive advice on wills and estate planning. Her family law practice encompasses a broad spectrum of matters, ranging from property settlements involving modest assets to complex cases with multi-million dollar asset pools, including family trusts and overseas assets that have been held within families for generations. Lynette’s family law experience includes handling straightforward divorces, child support agreements, financial agreements, and dispute resolution through negotiation, mediation, collaborative processes, and court proceedings. She has assisted clients from married, de facto, and same-sex relationships, demonstrating her commitment to keeping abreast of legal developments and effective representation methods throughout her career. In addition to family law, Lynette advises on key family-related legal matters such as wills, powers of attorney, enduring guardianships, estate planning, dispute resolution, property and business settlements, administration of deceased estates, and contested estate matters. Lynette completed her Bachelor of Laws at Murdoch University in 2005. She is an active member of the Law Society of Western Australia, the Family Law Practitioners’ Association of Western Australia, the Public Notaries Society of Western Australia Inc., and the Western Australia Chinese Chamber of Commerce, where she serves as a council member. In 2013, Lynette was appointed a Notary Public by the Supreme Court of Western Australia, becoming the first female Chinese Asian Notary Public in the state. She remains the only female Chinese Asian Notary Public practising in Western Australia.
