David Allen

David Allen began his legal career in March 1982 at T A Hill & Son, now known as Hill Solicitors, while completing his law degree at Macquarie University. He was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in December 1987 and became a partner at Hills Solicitors in July 1990. With extensive experience in commercial law, conveyancing, probate, and estate matters, David offers comprehensive legal advice to a diverse range of businesses throughout the Hunter Valley, from small enterprises to larger organisations. His managerial role at the firm has given him a broad understanding of the business challenges clients face, complementing his practical legal expertise. David is frequently consulted on commercial disputes and has participated in numerous significant commercial litigation cases over the years. Beyond his professional commitments, David has contributed his time as an honorary solicitor for various community organisations. He has held leadership roles including Director of Mai-Wel Limited and membership on the Mai-Wel Corporate Governance Committee. His community involvement extends to serving in prominent positions with the Hunter Valley Law Society, Maitland Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Maitland Lions Club.
