About Daniel
Daniel Allen is a solicitor admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in February 2023. Growing up in a legal environment as the eldest child of Principal David Allen, Daniel developed a strong connection to the profession from an early age. While completing his studies at the University of Newcastle, Daniel balanced full-time work as a Law Clerk at Hills Solicitors for seven years, gaining insight into the vital support roles within legal practice. He holds a Bachelor of Business with a major in Marketing and completed his Juris Doctor degree in 2022. Daniel’s legal interests lie primarily in property law, where he is committed to assisting clients through the complexities of buying and selling property. He is particularly focused on helping young Australians navigate the property market smoothly, aiming to alleviate the stress involved so clients can concentrate on settling into their new homes. In addition to his property law focus, Daniel has undertaken advanced training in Alternative Dispute Resolution and Mediation under the guidance of Dean Professor Tania Sourdin. These courses have equipped him with skills to approach disputes constructively, seeking cost-effective resolutions outside court proceedings. Daniel has also gained valuable experience assisting in Supreme Court and Court of Appeal cases, further developing his legal expertise.
