Maxine Firbas

Maxine Firbas is a Wills & Estates Lawyer who joined Hill Legal in 2019. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from Deakin University and completed her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the Leo Cussen Centre for Law in 2018. Maxine also has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Monash University. Maxine’s practice focuses on Estate Planning and related matters. She has significant experience in drafting Wills and Powers of Attorney, including those involving testamentary trusts and estate planning tailored to blended families and vulnerable beneficiaries. She also deals with complex Estate-related issues such as disputed Estates and Family Provision claims. In addition to her estate law work, Maxine provides assistance with applications to the State Revenue Office for Stamp Duty exemptions on eligible property transfers.
