Toni-lee Saunders-Locke

Toni-lee Saunders-Locke is a Partner at Hey Family Law with extensive experience spanning her entire legal career in family law. Admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia, she has been practising family law since before completing her LLB with Honours in 2014. Toni-lee's legal background is rooted in working exclusively with a boutique family law practice, bringing a deep understanding of the complexities involved in family legal matters. Since joining Hey Family Law as a Senior Associate in 2020, Toni-lee was promoted to Special Counsel in 2022, and then to Partner in July 2024. She regularly manages a broad spectrum of family law cases, focusing particularly on complex property settlements involving multiple parties, and sensitive parenting matters where the wellbeing and safety of children are paramount. Toni-lee is recognised within the team as the go-to practitioner for international family law issues, especially those that involve foreign investment and foreign trusts, intersecting with Australian family law. Her expertise in this area is further enhanced by collaboration with colleagues admitted in multiple jurisdictions, providing comprehensive advice to clients with cross-border concerns.
