About Aviva
Aviva Goldman is a Lawyer at Hazan Hollander, bringing a strong foundation in commercial and corporate law. She earned her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Monash University, where she also contributed four years to the editorial committee of the Monash University Law Review. Aviva is admitted as a Legal Practitioner and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia. Her early career includes significant experience in commercial litigation, covering company liquidations, insolvency, commercial arbitration and injunctions, gained at a firm now part of Ashurst (formerly Blake & Riggall). She also managed the Melbourne Legal Research and Precedents department at Mallesons Stephen Jacques (now King & Wood Mallesons), overseeing legal research and documentation. Aviva worked closely with Professor Robert Baxt AO during his tenure as Dean of Monash Law School, co-authoring scholarly articles on corporations and business law. Her research extended to product liability reform for the Victorian government’s Regulation Review unit, and she supported Professor Baxt’s projects on franchising and corporate enforcement for the body now known as the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC). At Hazan Hollander, Aviva applies her expertise to assist clients with franchising disputes, corporate governance matters and regulatory prosecutions and enforcement, enhancing the firm’s capacity to navigate complex commercial and regulatory issues.
