Callum Purcell

Callum Purcell has been practising law since 2018, focusing on litigation in both state and federal courts, as well as tribunals. He acts for clients across a broad range of matters including criminal law, estate disputes such as contesting or defending wills, building disputes, defamation, debt recovery, commercial disputes, consumer law, neighbourhood conflicts, anti-discrimination cases, employment law, workplace relations, and unfair dismissal. As principal and director, Callum brings comprehensive courtroom experience and a commitment to advocating effectively on behalf of his clients. He is actively involved in the legal community as a member of the Council of the Law Society of Tasmania and contributes to access to justice through his role on the North-West Community Legal Centre’s Management Committee, where he previously served as chairperson. Outside of his legal career, Callum enjoys playing squash and following football. Originally from Western Australia, he has lived in Tasmania since 2013 and supports the Fremantle Dockers.
