Kathryn Halyburton

Kathryn Halyburton is the Director Solicitor of Halyburton Legal and has been practising law since 2002. Following the retirement of John Williams, a long-standing partner of the previous firm, Kathryn took on the leadership of the Toronto office. In 2017, she acquired the office, strengthening her connection with the local Toronto community, clients, and staff. Kathryn’s legal experience encompasses a broad range of areas including estates and estate litigation, property transactions such as buying, selling and leasing, small business acquisitions and disposals, and estate planning matters including wills, Powers of Attorney, and Appointments of Enduring Guardian. She is dedicated to providing her clients with clear, supportive advice and is committed to delivering quality legal representation tailored to their individual needs. Outside of her professional role, Kathryn is married and a mother to three boys. She is actively involved in her family’s sporting activities, often seen on the sidelines supporting her sons’ soccer games. Kathryn also enjoys cooking in her spare time and performs annually at Carols by the Beach at Empire Park, embracing her community both professionally and personally.
